Welcome to the Telford Venom Ice Hockey Team Website.
WHO WE ARE.
Telford Venom is Telford's PeeWee Ice Hockey Club and was originally founded with an under 14's team in May 1988. Shortly following this, the under 12's and 10's also managed to get teams pulled together and start playing this game we all love.
The original names of the teams were
Under 10's - Telford Turtles
Under 12's - Telford Terrahawks
Under 14's - Telford Tiger Cubs
Since founded we have continued to field the three different age groups of Under 10's, 12's, 14's and also an Under 14's development team. It was in 2000 that the teams were brought under the same banner and all changed the names to the Telford Venom.
The teams train and play at the same Ice Rink as Telfords senior team - Telford Tigers. In fact several of the current Tigers senior players played for the original 12 & 14's team 'back in the day'...
